Little Miss Anna

Here are some pictures of Anna from the past few weeks.

Joni (our baby-sitter) had some fun putting Anna's hair up. I have tried and can't do this. Guess I need some practice.

My sister, Aunt Kimmie, is always buying Anna the cutest little shoes. I think she bought these shortly after Anna was born. It is hard to find something to go with red boots but at Christmas, Anna got the perfect outfit. The boots actually have red flowers just like the dress.

Anna loves to climb into the cupboard

and drag everthing out. Ian loves to help her play drums. Yeah, it is LOUD!

I don't have any pictures (I should) but the funniest thing Anna does right now is uses

everything as a phone. She will put anything up to her ear and say "hello" (in Anna language).

Little Mister Ian

This is one of Ian's new costumes (Aunt Kimmie again). He got quite a few for Christmas and loves them all.

We got to visit with some Auburn friends on Saturday and Ian had so much fun. Here he is jumping with Krue and having fun with the punching bag. I think Dad may need to invest in one of those.

Ian has had some interesting things to say lately. First off, I got him a bible and a devotional book because he had been asking about God and such. So we were reading the bible one night when he began to ask questions about Heaven and when/who goes there. After my best explanation, he began crying saying he didn't believe in God because he didn't want to go to Heaven. Not the best job on my part. So as I am trying to repair the damage I have done he eventually asks if his house, bat-cat, and teddy could go with him. This seemed to make him happy until he said something a few days later that has me really worried. He told me that "Sometimes I try to be bad so I don't have to go to Heaven." I tried to explain that this isn't how it works but I think my explaining things is a bad idea...obviously. Any suggestions?

Last night I allowed Ian to stay up until 9:30 so he could watch Justice League. When that was over he came walking into my room asking for one more chance to please watch baby looney toons. He just needed one more chance, please. He then explained to me that he had been 1/2 good today and deserved it. Ian always uses his hands when explaining something and it was so cute I couldn't say no.
