Kunkel Family Christmas

On January 1st we all got together for our family Christmas. Jason, Jill & Anthony stopped in on their way home from Vegas. Shane, kids and I drove down while Dad drove up. We are all over now days. Anyhow, it began to snow and blow while we were down there and we got snowed in. It was great to spend the whole evening with my family. We had great food (as always) and fun playing games. We did not get to bowl this year but it was just as much fun. Plus, Ian can keep his trophy another year this way.

With my new camera (YEAH) I was able to set the timer and get a family photo. If you look, we are all leaning in hoping to make the cut...ha ha ha.

These picture are of us opening presents and hanging out.

There were three funny gifts this year. First, Nic got my Dad a gift card/Christmas ornament with his (Nic's) picture on it. It was Hilarius. Look closely you may see Nic's face there.

Next, us girls have passed around "the Box" for seven years now. This Box comes from when Shane and I were engaged. Jill bought me these gumby like picture frames - Bride and Groom- that you put your picture in the face. Well the box she picked up was the display box and empty. We thought it was so funny that at Christmas that year we returned the box. Now it gets passed around for various things. It was last given to Jill as a house warming gift until she gave it to Shane this year for Christmas. He is the first "male" to get this gift and we hope they men are mature enough to play our game.

The last gift was actually a Birthday Present for Tate. He turned 13 on the 4th but Pappy and Grandma Cindy had his gift early. These glasses were in the gift and we all took turns wearing them and getting a good laugh out of it.

Maybe some of us had more fun than others.......NIC!

Doesn't Nic look cute in those glasses--maybe more t-shirts are in order and you and Shane could run in Indy for a cause!!!!! Love you guys and it was great getting to see you at Christmas although it was for such a short amount of time
