Updates....
A lot has happened since my last post. Maybe the biggest thing is that the Heath's now have the Internet at home. Hopefully, this will mean that I can get back into blogging and keep you all informed on our family. In November we did celebrate Thanksgiving but also, Ian lost his first tooth. He played and played with it until he finally pulled it out. He was so excited and is now in the process of pulling them all out so he can "get money! (his words)"

Ian also tested for and received his Camo Belt in TaeKwanDo. He was so excited and after sitting through the whole belt ceremony, was called to the front to be given a blue star for doing such a good job. There were only a few of these handed out that night.

From time to time I will put the kids tent up in the playroom and they will lay in it and watch cartoons together. Well, Uno and Lexy like to lay in it as well. Not sure if they watch the cartoons but love the tent.

This past weekend we had Christmas for my family because my brother and sister-in-law were home from Alabama. It was so much fun to get together again. It seems too long in between. When we got there Saturday it was snowing to we sent the kids out (yes I am a kid) to play.

On Saturday night Jason, Kim and I attended the lighting ceremony at the Angel of Hope Memorial Park in Bluffton. This was a first for me but it was well worth it. This park is based on the book the Christmas Box and they are now sprouting up all over. This park is a place for loved ones lost to be remembered. The one in Bluffton is beautiful and if you have not seen it - check it out. You can donate money to the park for different memorials for your loved ones. It was dark and snowy that night so some of my pictures didn't really turn out.

Sunday we celebrated Christmas and Anna's Birthday. Aunt Deb made a yummy Cinderella cake that Anna just loved.

Aunt Jill and Uncle Buddy got Anna a bike for Christmas - since it was in a box we let her ride it this way.

We have "the box" that gets passed around the family. Last year we (the girls) allowed the boys to be in the "circle." Shane was the first boy to get the box and wanted to pass it to Nic this year. After Christmas Anna opened her presents and had one from Uncle Nic....guess what it was. Who will it end up with next?

The rest of these are the cousins hanging out wrestling....what is it about boys?

Happy Halloween.

Our family theme this year was Peter Pan. So we had Ian as Peter Pan, Anna as Tinkerbell, Shane as Captain Hook, Uno and Lexy were the crocodiles and I, of course, was Wendy Darling. OK - Shane and I didn't really dress the part but it is the thought that counts. They loved it and look so CUTE. This was the first year ever Shane has got to go with us and with the weather we had a blast. We did the downtown trick-or-treating, went out to eat, and then met up with some families to go around the neighborhood. I loved it. The group of kids ran from house to house while us "adults" talked and had fun watching. That is the way to go for sure.

Our pumpkins.

Introducing: Peter Pan and Tinkerbell - Straight from Never Never Land

We flew over to see Ashlie and Brittany.

Peter Pan and his flying buddies. (Batman- Hunter and Spiderman - Bray)

Welcome to the family - PARIS!!!

Uncle Eric is now the proud father of a little girl - Paris. Ian and Anna love her to death. They are always asking when she is coming over and when they can see her and so on. OK - Honestly, Shane and I do to, and Uno and Lexy. Take a look.

Household Update.

It has been getting harder to update my blog - Sorry. I am doing the best I can. I wanted to let everyone know the important things. Ian has started full tackle football and loves it. Shane is the coach and the team is sponsored by DeKalb Chiropractic Center (DCC Baby). Each team is also given an NFL name - Ian's only comment on this was "I hope we don't get the Cowboys." We didn't. Actually, we are the REDSKINS!!!!! Here are some pictures of recognition night at the high school game and the first few games. His next game is Saturday at 3:30. It is fun to watch come on out and cheer the skins on.

Anna has also started Ballet lessons with Miss Ashlie. She loves it. Wont show us what they do in class and doesn't know why the other kids call Ashee Miss Ashlie - that is not her name. She is by far the smallest in the class and we are having the worst time finding outfits that fit her. Oh well.

There is a new page below Shane's Birthday. Because I had saved it as a draft but started it before, it was placed down there. Read it and enjoy.

Happy 30th Shane!!!
Shane is officially OLD right along with me. He just had his 30th and seems to be adjusting well. He was gone on his actual Birthday (pretending to be young still and playing in the Gus Macker) so the kids and I made him dinner and desert when he returned. Have you ever seen candles in ice cream? It was cute.

The weekend after his Birthday, we arranged a get together at Rum Runners and all his friends came to celebrate. They took Shane on stage and made fun of him, Ashlie participated in a dance contest on stage, and we all enjoyed the music and company. It is not very often we can all get together now that we are old but when we do, we sure have fun.
