Water Fun.

On Sunday, Jen and I, wanted to get the kids out of the house and let them have some fun. We decided to take them swimming at the YMCA. We went to the new pool and it was awesome. The shallow end was like 3 1/2 feet so Ian could touch without his jacket which he loves. There is a water slide that Ian figured out in a hurry. He had fun zipping around in that thing. I didn't think there would be much for Anna to do but I was happily surprised. They had this tower with three spouts, a train, and other things that all sprayed water out. Anna had so much fun running through the sprinklers and climbing up into the train to stay safe. My only big complaint was that the water was a bit cold. Oh yeah and that we couldn't get in the hot tub. The hot tub is right by the pool so parents can sit in it and watch their kids....if they can swim alone.

Three Rings of Fun.

This past weekend we were able to enjoy the Circus and all it had to offer. We went with friends of ours and I think everyone had fun. Anna didn't like when the lights first went out but eventually got comfortable. She really just wanted to sit with Madi. Ian and Bray sat together and ate their cotton candy and laughed at the skits. I didn't get very many pictures because of the way we were sitting.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This Holiday season seemed to come and go so fast. We seemed to space things out really well this year and we got to enjoy each one as it came. I tried to go in order and not miss anything or anyone. I do have a ton more pictures but tried to keep it short and sweet. Hope this year brings many good things to all of you and yours.

The Heaths
Ian's School Christmas Party.

I got to help with Ian's party again this year and it was fun. It is so neat to see how the kids have grown and also how they respond and listen to their teacher. They played games, had a snack and got to give their teachers presents. This is his class with Mrs. Pulumbo and Mrs. Zerns.

Christmas Lights!

When I was growing up, we always went out on Christmas Eve to look at the lights. The whole family would load up and drive around town voting on the best decorated house. It was so much fun that Shane and I have done this with out family.

I don't know that Ian and Anna love it as much as I do. We put them in their jammies, gave them their juice/milk and set out on our way. There is a house in town that has every blow-up Christmas thing you could think of in their tiny yard.

This house was the closest to Clark Griswolds we could find.

Some of the houses in our old neighborhood do the candles in the bags lining the streets. Such an amazing sight to see when it is all lit up. When we returned home, I caught Anna just sitting by the tree alone QUIETLY. I took the oportunity to play with my camera. Sorry these are turned. (When I save them on a disc before editing this happens).

Grandma Kunkel's Christmas

On the 23rd we had Christmas at my Grandma and family. My battery on my camera died so I have one picture from there...but it is a good one! These are my cousins and aunt and uncle from Florida. It is always fun getting together with my cousins and Aunts and uncles that we don't see too often. Most of us are married or in college and it is harder to get a time with everyone now days. Thanks Grandma for all you do for us and making sure we all get together.
Christmas with Mema and Ray

On Christmas Eve we had Christmas with Mema and Ray. We opened presents first - I think it was more because Mema couldn't wait than the kids. There were so many gifts I wasn't sure the "party bus" could carry it all. We then had wings and relaxed for a while while the kids played. It was nice and we (once again) got spoiled.

Mema got Anna a doctor kit and these are the glasses from that kit. Do they look the part?
Merry Christmas - 2007

We had a great Christmas this year. This was the first year that Shane was home and we had no plans but being lazy.

Ian and Anna left Santa a note, cookies, hot chocolate and a candy cane. We took a family picture and it was off to bed.

I got up early and made breakfast. We ate together and then let the kids tear into their gifts. Santa wraps their presents in boy paper for Ian and girl paper for Anna so it is real easy for them to figure out who gets what. Anna was so cute this year. She'd begin to tear the paper off, take a big deep breath, and yell "What is it?" She is a slow unwrapper though. At one point she was putting down smaller presents for bigger ones and Ian, eventually, helped her unwrap the rest.

Ian got this really cool Optimus Prime Voice Changer. You put it on and speak and it makes your voice sound like Optimus Prime. Anna thought it was scary at first. She then enjoyed putting it on and singing "la la la la." Shane and I had a ton of fun with it to.

They honestly got more toys than any kid needs. We truly are blessed to have two babies and the ability to spoil them like we obviously do.

Christmas with Poppaw and Grandma Jenni

On the 26th we had Christmas with Shane's Dad. The kids got more toys and clothes. It was fun and relaxing. We got to see Tesa and talk Weddings (she is engaged). Tesa and Cory made lasagna for us that was absolutely delicious. Thank you guys for everything.

Happy New Year From Around the World

We were fortunate enough to be invited to the Nagel's for a New Years party. It was so much fun. The theme was around the world. You have to pick a country then dress the part and bring a food and drink from that country. There were a ton of different dishes and drinks and costumes. It was a blast. Shane and I chose Jamaica. We took Coconut Toto and Jamaican Bum. Both tasty treats.

We went with Ashlie and Eric - Russia, and Jeff and Rachelle - Sweden.

There was a couple there who chose "White Trash America" It was the funniest thing ever. This is the boys with "Mr. White Trash" and his 40.

Lee and Erin were Italy. This picture is of Lee giving everyone a shot out of a lemon in Italy.

It was a great time for everyone. They had fireworks at midnight and Dan Nagel proposed to his girlfriend Abby. It was so sweet.

Thank you Nagel family for thinking of us.
